It's taken technical expertise, tenacity and teamwork. And yes — while part of the satisfaction comes from working with some pretty impressive "toys" ... sorry, “moving parts” — our success has always come down to PEOPLE.

Huge congrats to all the runners in yesterday's Mackay Marina Run, especially our in-house competitors: half-marathoners Mick Vella (1:44:31, with pram no less!) and Jonn Grimmond (2:02:53), and in the 5k Richard Billet (29:34). A great day out raising money for the Leukemia Foundation. Hoo-ah!

Feels good to get alongside fellow "Sunshine State-ers" and celebrate Queensland Day! 🌞

Having set up in Mackay more than two decades ago, CQ remains the beating heart of FIELD to this day. 💙 Most of our team is based across our Paget head office near Mackay Airport, along with our Gladstone team — with Brisbane giving us a strong base in the South East too.

While our work takes us across Australia (and the Asia Pacific) we still choose to call Queensland home.

June marks the month work is set to begin on Brisbane’s new Olympic and Paralympic Stadium.

This recent snap of David and Charlotte at Victoria Park, capturing both future stadium and new National Aquatic Centre sites beyond, feels a little prophetic — a crane rising in the distance.

And this is only the beginning. 🏗️

As Brisbane gears up for 2032, the city skyline is set to become even more crane-filled than it already is — placing huge demand on inspection, commissioning and maintenance support to keep fleets operating safely and efficiently.

Good thing our Brisbane-based high-risk plant inspectors are ready for it.
