Lifting heavy infrastructure in tight spaces is always a challenge, but doing it with structurally damaged assets requires a higher level of engineering precision. 🏗️

When a major Queensland processing plant needed to remove and replace the damaged roof of a tank, they called on FIELD Engineers to plan and execute the critical lifts.

Our team conducted finite element analysis to evaluate stress points and designed a tiered spreader pattern using off-the-shelf rigging components. This smart approach minimised compressive stresses on both the old and new roofs, protecting vital site infrastructure without the need for expensive custom gear.
