35 TONNES OF HEAVY FABRICATION.

Our Fabrication Division has taken delivery of a Liebherr 996 bucket, weighing in at approximately 35 tonnes, for repair and refurbishment work.

This is no ordinary fabrication job. After putting in the hard yards in some demanding mining applications, this bucket has arrived at our workshop ready for its next chapter.

The first challenge was getting this substantial component safely off the transport and into position — completed using a dual overhead crane lift before securing the bucket to its dedicated trolley frame ready for the work ahead.

As an OEM-trusted repairer for Liebherr, we're proud to be trusted with components of this scale and importance.

The repair work is yet to begin, but this is just the start.

Celebrating a remarkable chapter at All Metal Solutions

Recently, we brought together all three All Metal Solutions divisions for lunch and drinks onsite to celebrate the retirement of one of our founding directors, Caesar.

Caesar’s story with the business actually began well before All Metal Solutions was established in 2004. What was originally intended to be a six-week stint somehow turned into more than three decades of dedication, leadership and commitment!

Alongside Steve, Caesar played a fundamental role in founding AMS and helping shape the business into what it is today — one of Queensland’s successful fabrication and laser cutting businesses.

His leadership, stewardship and vision have been instrumental in our growth, but perhaps even more importantly, Caesar has always maintained a strong commitment to doing things properly, setting high standards and building a business that people can be proud to be part of.

As we continue to grow and look towards the future, we recognise the significant contribution Caesar has made to the foundations and success of AMS.

From everyone across All Metal Solutions, All Metal Laser and All Metal Tube Laser, thank you, Caesar, for your many years of hard work, commitment and friendship.

We wish Caesar and Ellen all the very best for their retirement and the next chapter ahead.

A full rebuild of a Liebherr 9800 bucket, plus major repairs to the matching 9800 boom — completed by our All Metal Fabrication team for Liebherr, the OEM.

New lip, basket, side cutters, GET package, wear packages, intermediate plates and structural repairs — plus line boring and crack repairs to the boom.

From worn and working hard to rebuilt and ready for service.

Our All Metal Fabrication team recently completed a full rebuild of a Liebherr 9800 bucket, along with major repairs to the matching 9800 boom, and importantly, entrusted by Liebherr — the OEM to get the job done!

The bucket rebuild included:

• New lip installed
• Intermediate plates replaced
• New basket
• New side cutters
• GET package installed
• New corner gusset
• New wear packages

The matching 9800 boom also underwent line boring and crack repairs to restore it to service-ready condition.

Projects like this demonstrate the capability and quality of work our Fabrication team delivers every day — and having our work trusted by the OEM itself is something we're proud of.

New technology, new capability, even more production power.

We’re excited to see our new HSG high-speed Tube Laser now fully commissioned and already punching out the work in our Tube Laser division.

The machine is built for high-speed, precision tube processing and is a significant addition to our growing laser capabilities.

In this video, the HSG is cutting 150 × 50 × 5mm RHS — giving you a good idea of just how quickly this machine can move through the work.

It’s another investment by All Metal Solutions in technology, capacity and capability, helping us deliver greater efficiency and faster turnaround for our customers.

🎉 Celebrating Safety, Commitment & Milestones at All Metal Solutions! 🎉

There was plenty to celebrate in our All Metal Solutions Fabrication Division this week! 👏

The team has achieved an outstanding 12 months LTI Free — a fantastic result that reflects the commitment, teamwork and focus on safety shown by everyone across the division. 🦺💪

We also celebrated two incredible long-service milestones:

🔹 Mark Helsham – 20 Years of Service
🔹 Greg Jayma – 15 Years of Service

These are significant milestones and a great reflection of the dedication and contribution Mark and Greg have made to All Metal Solutions over the years. Congratulations, and thank you for everything you’ve contributed! 👏

To celebrate, the Fabrication team enjoyed a well-earned BBQ lunch together. 🌭🥩🍔

A big congratulations to the entire Fab team on reaching 12 months LTI Free, and a special thank you to Mark and Greg for their years of commitment.

We’re getting closer to putting our new high-speed tube laser into production.
This is a significant step forward in the capability of the AMS Tube Laser Division, giving our customers greater capacity, speed and flexibility for tube and profile processing.
With capability including:
🔹 140 r/min chuck rotation for high-speed processing
🔹 Automatic bundle loading for improved efficiency
🔹 Bevel cutting head for more complex applications
🔹 9m loading | 4.5m unloading capability
🔹 Processing of pipe up to 273mm diameter
🔹 Square & rectangular tube up to 200mm
🔹 Processing down to just 12mm
This machine opens up new opportunities across structural steel, engineering, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, transport, fabrication and construction — from high-volume production runs through to complex, precision-cut components.
The result? More capacity. Faster processing. Greater capability. Less manual handling.
We’re excited to bring this next generation of tube processing to our customers.

A great afternoon celebrating our All Metal Laser Team! 👏

July was a fantastic month for the team — almost a record month — and a great result that reflects the hard work, commitment and teamwork across the Laser division.

It was also a chance to recognise two of our team members Francis Sabatino and Chris Brodie (2 of our Highly Talented Laser Operators) reaching their 5-year milestones. Congratulations and thank you for your continued contribution to All Metal Solutions. 👏👏

Sadly, we also said goodbye to one of our valued team members Sales Supervisor Peter Ray, who is moving on to his next chapter. We’re grateful for everything you’ve contributed to the team and wish you all the very best for the future.
