Another late one at the yard 🌖

Prepping a shipping container for paint is hard work ya’ll 😂, scrape , peel , wire brush , cold gal spray , REPEAT…. Can’t put the sail up until she’s sprayed.

Day 2 done , we’ll be there again tomorrow , lucky for me I have a crazy bestie who loves helping me out with my adventures ! Tee Turner

One of the most important things you can do before purchasing a tiny home is research the installation process so you have a clear understanding of what's involved. We want every customer to go into the journey with realistic expectations and no surprises.
Recently, someone told me I "must be having a lend of him" and that I was "a joke" when I explained the costs involved in installing a tiny home.

I can assure you... it's no joke.
The installation costs associated with your tiny home are very real and, in some cases, can be significant. While we'd all love them to be cheaper, there are a number of trades, approvals and services required before your home can legally be occupied.

Below is a guide to what is typically involved to ensure your tiny home:

✔️ Arrives safely on site
✔️ Is installed correctly
✔️ Achieves its Certificate of Occupancy
✔️ Is connected to all required services
✔️ Is ready for you to move in and enjoy.

Historically, our customers have spent anywhere from $30,000–$48,000 on installation. Every site is different, and costs depend on factors such as:

• Your location
• Site access
• Earthworks and foundations
• Whether power, water and sewer services already exist
• Installation of new power poles or transformers (if required)
• Septic system installation (where required)
• Plumbing and electrical connections
• Council and certification requirements
• Driveways, crane hire or specialised transport (where applicable)

Every block of land is unique, so no two installations are ever exactly the same.

Our goal is to be completely transparent throughout the process. We'd much rather have an open conversation about the true costs upfront than have our customers caught off guard later.
