Major Electrical is now supporting Australian underground coal mines with Ventilation Air Methane (VAM) abatement solutions, working as the Australian affiliate of global emissions technology provider Conifer Systems.

The technology is designed to reduce methane emissions from mine ventilation air before they reach the atmosphere, while Major Electrical provides the local engineering, electrical integration, installation and ongoing support needed to make the system work within each individual mine operation.
