We are proud to support Darling Downs Health as they advance their digital transformation with the installation of a BD Rowa™ Smart pharmacy robot at Toowoomba Hospital.

This state‑of‑the‑art system is already transforming medication distribution across the hospital by automating storage, retrieval and dispensing, improving safety, accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Annette Scott PSM, Chief Executive of Darling Downs Health, highlighted the impact the BD Rowa™ Smart robot is having on pharmacy operations:

The BD Rowa™ Smart system is already handling more than 1,200 transactions per day with speed and accuracy, and has capacity to store up to 13,000 products, supported by real‑time stock monitoring to help reduce waste.

The Gold Cross team came to BD Rowa HQ on a mission: find the Glucojel Jelly Beans.

We searched everywhere…or so we thought.

Turns out, they were hiding in the best place of all, inside the BD Rowa.

Once loaded, our dispensing robot took over, picking and delivering the Glucojel Jelly Beans seamlessly via the outdoor unit, creating a great moment for the Gold Cross team.
