Future pharmacists, future pharmacy leaders... and apparently future robot operators.

Last week, we welcomed students from the Sydney University Pharmacy Association (SUPA) to our Macquarie Park Training Centre for a behind-the-scenes look at pharmacy automation and dispensing technology.

As our first event of this kind, it was a fantastic opportunity to introduce the next generation of pharmacists to the technologies helping shape the future of pharmacy.

Many of these students will go on to become pharmacy owners, managers and industry leaders. By engaging with them early, we can help build awareness of what's possible today and inspire what they should expect from pharmacy technology in the future.

The students explored BD Rowa™ automation, saw the robots in action, learned about medication workflows and even managed to find their way inside the robot for a photo or two.

A big thank you to the SUPA team for partnering with us, and to the students for bringing their curiosity, enthusiasm and great questions.

We're excited to build on the success of this event and look forward to creating more opportunities to connect with future pharmacists in the years ahead.
