I made this Pea Pod probably 8 years ago and it had gone rusty in a box up on a shelf.
The person I made it for happened to be working in SA and dropped around to collect another item I had made so I gifted it to him after I had polished it to a chrome finish.

I’ve been contemplating creating a
Mokume Gane Wedding Ring using both yellow and white gold to replace the original gold band that had to be cut off after a little welding accident.
Already having the gold and now stumbling upon this beaut little jewellers blow torch is one more step in the right direction.
I was a little dubious about firing up the torch as it is fed by petrol fumes from a tank within the machine and also from a seperate kettle.

Not being able to read Chinese and no English instructions as to which hose to connect to which of the 5 connection choices.
All inlets / outlets including the filler hole are open to each other with no means of arresting a flash back, but it works like a charm. From a wicked roar to an almost silent micro flame that melts solder in a few seconds.

Fire place grille to keep the cutest little grandson safe from the fire. Made to accentuate the fireplace tool rack.
