Ever wondered what those little outdoor drains/grates are for? When a plumber says “O.R.G”, they’re talking about the Overflow Relief Gully. Its job is to act like a safety drain outside your house, so if the main sewer ever blocks up or overflows, the wastewater spills out there instead of backing up inside your home. A storm water drain is for rain water only.
