Successfully delivering an Inline Inspection (ILI) project is about much more than just running inspection tools through a pipeline.
On our recent 250mm aviation fuel pipeline project in Perth, Pro-Torque was engaged as the Principal Contractor, responsible for safely coordinating all field activities while implementing the client approved Permit to Work system.
Our scope of work included regulatory approvals, pigging system design, procurement, traffic management, civil works, confined space entry, pipeline welding and nitrogen preservation.
The project required the integration of multiple specialist disciplines and stakeholders, including:
- NATA-accredited inline inspection services
- Dewatering and groundwater management including environmental monitoring and compliance
- Underground asset surveys and specialist pipeline support services
- Client and third-party stakeholder interfaces including council, airport, utility operators and public
By bringing these activities together under a disciplined project delivery framework, the team successfully managed complex stakeholder interfaces while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
