Due to unforeseen circumstances, our guest speaker meeting with Shane Seymour from TV Magic has been postponed to Wednesday, 4 November.

💙 MONDAY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT – PRAV FROM CORNERSTONE LAW OFFICES ⚖️

This Monday, we’re celebrating Prav from Cornerstone Law Offices and recognising the incredible impact she has made through her volunteer work! 👏

After an amazing 13 years volunteering with Women’s Legal Service Queensland, providing thousands of hours of legal advice and making a difference in countless lives, Prav has officially hung up her hat in that role. What an incredible contribution to the community! 🙌

But for Prav, volunteering is far from over! 💙

She will continue her work as a volunteer mediator, her involvement with Rotary, and providing complementary initial legal advice through Cornerstone Law Offices.

Prav’s passion for empowering others, sharing her knowledge and skills, and giving people hope is a wonderful example of what it means to make a difference beyond your day-to-day business.

🌟 WHAT A GREAT MORNING OF CONNECTION & CONVERSATION! 🌟

Yesterday’s networking breakfast was another fantastic morning, with great attendance, plenty of conversation and some really valuable insights shared around the table. 🤝☕️

We were also lucky enough to hear from Faizey Greaves, Life Coach, who spoke about something that is incredibly important for every business owner — finding a healthy balance between work, family and health. 💛

Faizey shared some great reminders, including:

💼 Delegate where you can — taking some pressure off yourself while also giving your employees the opportunity to learn, grow and shine. It also means your business can continue operating when you need to take time off or aren't available.

🏡 Switch off from work when you can — being present at home and giving yourself permission to step away from the business.

❤️ Make time for your partner — whether it's a date night out, a night in together, or simply spending some quality time together once the kids are in bed.

👨‍👩‍👧 Make time for your kids — attend their sports and activities, or simply sit down and check in with them. Those little moments can make a big difference.

😴 Look after yourself — prioritising good sleep, healthy food and regular exercise, even if it's just during the week.

The big takeaway? A healthy body and healthy mind contribute to a healthier, more balanced life — and that benefits both you and your business. 🌱

A huge thank you to Faizey for sharing such an important and relatable message with our group. 💫
