About Us:
We are an expanding design & construction company operating in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne( Camberwell) and are currently looking for an Accounts/Administration Assistant .
Willing to provide training or internship for right candidate .
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role is challenging and fast-paced where you will be responsible for coordinating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of both the plumbing and construction projects. The role also includes body corporate management responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare project budgeting and monitor and adjust the actual to meet company needs .
Able to prepare and lodge quarterly BAS for multiple entities
Prepare Information for end of financial tax returns
Able to prepare detail company position reports
Providing day to day PA support to the Director
Supporting and assisting Director and other office staff with general administrative duties
Answering phone queries from customers, suppliers and employees
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
Invoicing
Liaising with Owners, Body corporates and Service providers
Maintaining up to date documentation and compliance
Following up with clients regarding quotes
General sales and Marketing duties
Skills and Requirements:
Required:
Xero Softwear knowledge
Basic Microsoft Suite knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Flexibility and eagerness to learn
High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Work to deadlines
Hardworking with a can do attitude; no task too big or too small
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions
Professional manner and attire
Excellent verbal and written skills
Preferred but not essential:
Human Resources experience
Marketing Experience
Real Estate/Property management
