That in in self says a lot about the type of person he is. Maydens group post a lot of content on the VTU page and we are paid up members to support the tipper drivers. Even offer a 10% discount to VTU member on proof of membership. Anyone the runs a business knows a mark up on parts is standard. In many cases our part mark up is still below RRP. We buy in bulk to get the best possible pricing, with over 200k of part in stock sitting on the shelf, it wouldn’t make financial sense to have this stock to only recoup 200k, there has to be profit to run a business. Any business, parts supplier or retailer sells with a mark up, no one in business sells you a part at the same price we pay for said parts. Any one who thinks this is how it business works is delusional.
We are not the cheapest repairer around and never have pretended to be. Yes, the bigger the factory the more it cost to rent, in land tax, rates, utilities, work cover, insurance, compliance, machinery, equipment
And list goes on.
For those who say we are too expensive, try the revolving door of other repairers and see how it works out for you. Everyone has heard the age old saying.
Good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good.
