Meet the Team!

Laura graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Archaeology in 2019. The primary focus of her studies was prehistoric and Aboriginal archaeology with a special focus on lithics.

This diverse exposure to archaeology led Laura to pursue further studies, graduating from a Graduate Diploma in Maritime Archaeology from Flinders University in 2023.

Since working at ArchEx, Laura has been able to further develop her fieldwork and research skills, as well as show her passion for lithic analysis.

Meet the Team!

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Archaeology at (2021), and a Master of Maritime Archaeology (2023) from Flinders University.

His Master’s thesis is focused on the network of settlements dotting the Central Dalmatian Islands along the coastline of Croatia and how they relied on lines of sight to exert influence over the surrounding landscape, resources and sea trading lanes.

Joseph endeavors to expand his skills in research, fieldwork, and GIS on ongoing projects and hopes to expand Archaeological Excavations' maritime archaeology capability.
