NSW uses around 3600 ML of aviation fuel each year. Our roadmap shows how the State could meet this demand locally by manufacturing solar powered DAC fuel modules and deploying them in western NSW. ✈️⚡

This approach supports cleaner fuel production while creating opportunities for regional communities. 🌾

Capturing CO₂ directly from the air will play an important role in helping industries like aviation cut emissions. 🌏☀️

Through our e-kerosene project, we have tested our DAC unit more than 100 times and shown it can run reliably. These insights have shaped a model that uses small DAC modules on sunny, non-arable land close to key transport routes.

After seven years of development, our team has reached a major milestone. We have successfully demonstrated our Direct Air Capture technology as part of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel project, along with a world first integration of DAC and an algae bioreactor. 🌱✨

Southern Green Gas is making good progress on its DAC module. All items have been ordered, and we are on track to assemble and commission it in late June/early July.

One key milestone achieved this week is the validation of our new heating method. We use heat to desorb the pure CO2 out of the adsorbent. Our new heating method, which uses resistive heating strips, was tested in our “Magpie” test unit, for which a patent has been lodged.
