This weekend was not just about a group of people hanging out. It was family coming together to embrace, share love and appreciate each others energy. It was remembering old memories whilst creating new ones too. It was a group of people with the intent to even just slightly fill Leannes emotional cup with love. It’s time…Season 3 of Australia’s Best House begins on on Saturday May 25th at 5.30pm!
After months and months of filming at an incredible array and variety of homes that represent the different ways in which Australians live today, my esteemed fellow judges and and I sat down together to revisit nearly 100 properties.
It was an honour and a privilege to meet with home owners, interior designers, builders and architects and to hear their stories and learn why they felt they had created Australia’s best house. The decision-making process was robust, challenging and emotional at times, and always so much fun.
Thank you to everyone who made this series so exciting and rewarding, to for your poise and grace, and to the team at .entertainment for their vision. Which one do you think is Australia’s best house?

It was such a great privilege to sit down with Hugh Mackay for . Hugh is an Australian legend and I loved every minute of our conversation together. You are a man of great knowledge, wisdom, insight and understanding, who walks in great empathy and love for others.

Hugh:
* Is an Australian psychologist, social researcher and writer
* Is a bestselling author of 23 books including his latest, The Therapist
* Founded the Australian quarterly research series The Mackay Report 1979–2003, which later became The Ipsos Mackay Report
* Was a weekly newspaper columnist for 25 years and is a regularly appearing commentator on radio and television
* Has a deep understanding of kindness in humans and the power of empathy and listening to others
