1) AI is the New Electricity: AI is rapidly becoming a foundational technology that will eventually operate seamlessly in the background of our educational systems and daily lives.

2) Empowering Teachers: The goal isn't for AI tutors to replace educators. Instead, AI is here to augment teachers, saving them hours on administrative tasks and marking so they can focus on human connection and meaningful interactions.

3) Flipping the Classroom Paradigm: Since students are inevitably using tools like ChatGPT at home, educators should adapt by keeping critical thinking and assessments inside the classroom, while allowing AI to assist with home-based brainstorming and research tasks.

4) Teaching "Metacognition": We need to teach students how to think about their thinking. Mastering prompt engineering is a valuable skill that actually requires students to deeply understand a topic in order to ask the AI the right questions.

5) Personalised 24/7 Support: Fine-tuned AI tutors offer round-the-clock, individualised support that adapts to each student's strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, backend analytics allow teachers to see exactly where a student is struggling for early intervention.

6) Keeping Humans in the Loop: Overcoming resistance and addressing concerns like AI bias requires proper change management, rigorous testing against benchmarks (guardrails), and ensuring human oversight is always maintained.
