Out with the old in with the new!
Did a cheeky swap on an old tired 7kw daikin and replaced with a 9.5kw MHI instead. All new pipework and drain to be covered by cladding once the build is finished.

Heats well and looks even better 😍

This week's repair

Completed a leak test on a bedroom split. The original installer did a lousy flare and obviously didn't pressure test it properly afterwards!

I re-flared both outdoor connections and pressure tested my work like it shouldve been done originally. 100% air tight and ready to run forever!

This weeks repair on a 9kw split system.

The unit would begin heating, then shut off at random after a few minutes. After some fault finding it looked like a sensor on the outdoor was causing dramas.

After pulling half the unit apart to fit all the new sensors 😅 she's ready to roll!

Here's a little leak test and repair from a few days ago! Sometimes a leak on the system can be so small it takes YEARS to drop to a noticeable level! Only with the right tools you'll know if it's running short.

An indoor flare needed re-doing and she was all sealed, pressure tested/vacced and gassed up fit for duty!

A quick diagnosis and the fault was identified as a faulty pcb intermittently cutting power to the control board 🤖 constantly restarting itself!
