Congratulations to our two outstanding team members Ryan Bridle and Cameron Beale who were recognised at the AMCA Victorian Industry Excellence Dinner on Friday 3rd December.

Ryan received the Mechanical Plumbing Award and Cameron was runner-up. What a remarkable achievement for them both and for the Entire team.

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced full time Payroll Officer to join our administration team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Timesheet management
* Accurate and efficient processing of weekly payroll
* End of month reconciliation and reporting
* Liaising with other departments to ensure correct employee details
* Maintaining updated information on employees
* Offering assistance to team members when necessary

Key Skills:

* Solid payroll background – at least 3+ years with a medium to large company
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
* Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail
* Able to work effectively within a team environment
* Superior time management and multi-tasking skills
* Be calm under pressure
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products
* Able to easily learn new systems and offer suggestions to improve payroll processes
* Previous experience within the construction industry preferred but not essential

IT’S OK TO NOT BE OK

Incolink are the people trusted by construction workers for 30 years to look after the health, wellbeing and entitlements of their members. Their latest initiative is Bluehats, a new su***de awareness and prevention program to provide support to construction workers in Victoria.

We know mental health and su***de is a huge issue in our communities and in our industry, unfortunately too many of us know someone who has been impacted by su***de. This is a tough industry and sometimes we can find things getting really difficult. That is why Bluehats has been co-designed with the construction industry to help when you’re down or just need someone to talk to.

Incolink’s Bluehats Su***de Prevention Initiative help workers who are doing it tough by providing someone to talk to onsite. Entire have employees from across Fire site, Mech Site and Service who have attended the training sessions provided by Incolink and are available to support our team.

And remember Incolink’s counselling service is available 24/7 to workers and their families on 1300 000 129.

Entire’s Light Commercial Division has recently delivered an optimised heating and ventilation plant in Swinburne’s Hawthorn Library.

Entire has applied our years of plant refurbishment experience to optimise the design, installation and maintainability. We successfully partnered with the incumbent building management system (BMS) contractor and Swinburne’s facility staff to identify and rectify legacy issues. The changeover was seamless, and the new boiler plant will provide over double the heating with only an 80% increase in gas usage. Additionally, Entire will give the University piece of mind with built in redundancy of the heating plant and integrated air/dirt separation to safeguard against future contractors improperly bleeding and filling the hydronic system. This solution will reduce callouts and increase Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in the building.

A full replacement of the hot water risers via a five-level mechanical shaft, complete refurbishment of the built-up air handling units and installation of external chilled water storage tank were all completed while the building is available to staff and students.

The Office tower is targeting an impressive 4.5 star NABERS Energy rating, PCA Grade A and a Green Star rating of 4 stars. Entire’s depth of experience will work with Probuild to achieve these impressive specifications through optimal chilled water selection and tuning, a condensing heating hot water plant, adiabatic dry coolers and plant fitted in an accessible and maintainable manner.

TBT to a Fire Services project we signed off in June last year. We replaced the sprinkler electric and sprinkler diesel pumps at 31 Queen Street and updated them all to current code. Our team worked so well in such a small space and completed the job in great time. The client was rapt with our service and the outcome.

Entire successfully upgraded Parliament House’s Data Centre Chillers with no interruption to the mission critical plant. The redundant chiller plant was safely removed and disposed of while being replaced with high-efficiency, purpose-built packaged chiller systems to suit the cooling requirements. With the client requesting only two weeks for site works, this plant was commissioned and tested shortly before Christmas. Another amazing result from Entire Mechanical’s Light Commercial Team.
