Another successful project completed over the weekend by the team at Brewair Airconditioning Services.
Our team replaced a failed chiller with a new Midea 65 KW Air-cooled heat pump featuring R290 refrigerant, dual inverter compressors and a VSD chilled water pump. The upgrade also included the installation of a 500-litre buffer tank and an external chilled water pump fitted with a VSD to improve overall system efficiency and performance.
To further enhance durability and operating efficiency, the chiller was treated with Thermal XR graphene coating, providing superior corrosion protection and improved COP performance.
As an authorised warranty agent, Brewair also carried out full commissioning of the new chiller system.
The project was completed within a tight timeframe to minimise production downtime for our client.

We replaced outdated EXV / HGBP valves and new drivers, upgraded main controllers and installed new interface screens. Both chillers are now back up and running like new! Clean up day at Brewair! These chilled water lines were left unprotected, with insulation exposed to Melbourne’s unforgiving climate, a recipe for premature wear and reduced system efficiency. Our team was called in to rectify the issue properly. Full cladding and sealing of the pipe work to restore integrity and ensure long term performance.
