Mackle Civil is a Werribee based civil construction company with work sites around (but not limited to) the inner metro Melbourne area. Specialising in bluestone, we undertake footpath, kerb and channel reconstruction in Melbourne's CBD. We also cover asphalting, concreting, drainage, electrical conduits, detailed earthworks and plant hire projects. Est.1988 with over 30yrs in operation there is opportunity for long term employment for the right candidates.

We are currently seeking:

•Full-time Labourers with a HR/HC truck licence or perhaps truck drivers looking for a change, a chance to get out of the cab, keep fit and learn new skills. Role is 20% Driving / 80% Jumping on the tools with the crew and working as a team to complete tasks on site.

•Full-time Experienced excavator operators. Operating 5-8ton excavators, digging around live services and triming to grade/level. Willing to get out of the cab and lend a hand with the boys on the ground from time to time. Not a job for beginners. This position comes with work ute

•Casual HR tipper/water truck driver.
Driving the watertruck onsite and driving tipper truck when water truck isn't needed. If you are a versatile person willing to do more than just drive we could find more work/hours for you, possibility of Full-time.
Minimum 6hr shift.

You must:

• Hold a clear full drivers licence and have own personal transportation

• Have appropriate licences/tickets for the role you are applying for.
Eg. Excavator, HR or HC truck licence. (Pending your potential we will upgrade your HR to HC)

• Construction induction card (White/red card)

• Appropriate long sleeve PPE and steel cap work boots

• A can-do attitude, correct work ethic and reliability.

• Have had your first covid19 vaccination and have your second booked

Starting rates are between $32-35ph pending your interview, experience and qualifications.
Note- Full-time positions (super,RDO,sick and annual leave) with a 3month probation period. 6am starts at our Werribee yard and usually back around 4pm give or take.

YOU MUST:
*Have a valid licence and mode of transport
*HR or HC truck licence (HC preferred)
*White or Red card
*Correct PPE
*Be fit, punctual, fast learner, keen to get on the tools and labour while on site.

Experience and someone located in the west would be great. More skills/tickets the better.

Willing to train up someone new to the industry who has the right attitude and work ethic.
