Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Dylan Wakartschuk. Here’s what he had to say.
✔ Tell us a bit about your background and experience
I have been exposed to quite a variety of work over my years as an electrician from renovations to high end domestic to light commercial doing big factory complexes and even went over to WA for 2 years with my partner to work FIFO in the mines doing conveyor belt systems and working on the housing in Newman, WA. I have a fair bit of experience in the project management side of things as well from running big factory sites ranging from 10-50 factories.
✔ What do you bring to the Elon Electrics team?
Good vibes, a good amount of electrical knowledge to pass onto apprentices and a can do attitude.
✔ What are you most looking forward to working on here?
I’m quite excited to get into the rail side of work as it is all brand new to me and I have always been very intrigued.
✔ What excites you about working on complex industrial or rail projects?
I love the challenge of learning something new and just the overall scale of work.
✔ What do you enjoy most about working in the electrical industry?
It is forever evolving and I don’t think I’ll lose my job to a robot anytime soon.
Glad to have you on the team, Dylan.
