Keeping cool under pressure 🥶

Before an industrial fan leaves our Bayswater facility, if required it undergoes dynamic balancing to help ensure smooth, reliable operation in the field.

Our balancing machine has a capacity range of 15-360mm drive, to accommodate rotational assemblies of up to 5,000mm (200”) diameter and a weight range of 50 grams to over 20,000kg.

Industrial fans and blowers for tempering are used in the glass and steel production process 💨

High-temperature sheets of glass or metal are exposed to high-velocity ambient air in order to achieve a specific set of surface properties.

The air is usually filtered and directed onto the hot surface as part of a continuous operation. Several stages of air jets are directed at the quenched surface until the desired surface temperature is achieved. Because air is a poor heat transfer medium, these air-quench tempering blowers can require a lot of air and horsepower.
