Toby Endsor, Base Industries Project Manager, here with an update from the North East Link - Northern Surface Works!

At Base Industries, we're not just providing access; we're building the future of construction. Our work on the stretcher stair access to the Northern vent stack at Watsonia, VIC, was a perfect opportunity to showcase our forward-thinking approach.

Our client, Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C, needed robust access, and our awesome Base Industries scaffolding delivered the structure. But we took it one step further, we integrated scaffcover NetGuard containment.

We are proud to be the first to bring this cutting-edge, reusable containment system to Australian construction sites. We proved that swapping out wasteful, disposable aviary mesh and cable ties for the highly sustainable NetGuard is easy, effective, and efficient.

A huge thanks to Rhiana Fiamengo and Slate Creer from Base who installed the NetGuard system quickly and easily. As they say, it was incredibly easy to install after a simple demo from some of the ScaffCover team, Saul K. and Troy Ford. Early feedback from trades on site is overwhelmingly positive, they love the clean, professional look!
