A couple spent more than $500,000 building their home, only to discover it had been built on the neighbouring block. 😳

When you’re already spending hundreds of thousands on a build, it can be tempting to look for places to save. But your property boundaries probably shouldn’t be one of them.

A Title Re-Establishment Survey confirms the legal position of your boundaries before construction begins, giving you and your builder confidence that everything is going exactly where it should.

A Title Re-Establishment Survey involves investigating the title, available survey information and physical evidence to determine the position of the legal property boundaries.

In the wake of recent bushfires, many property boundaries across Victoria have been damaged or lost entirely with fences, marks and reference points destroyed.

We’ve formally nominated Stacey Surveying to assist with the coordinated effort to help re-establish cadastral boundaries where they’ve been affected.

This work is critical to ensure rebuilding, fencing and future development can proceed with certainty and in accordance with title.

Boundary re-establishment following fire damage must be undertaken by a licensed land surveyor, and we’re proud to be contributing our experience and resources to support impacted landowners and the broader recovery process.

If you or someone you know has been affected and needs clarity around boundaries before rebuilding or fencing works, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
