It was a fantastic evening celebrating the incredible teams behind CasCorporation at our mid-year staff and partner event recently, recognising the hard work of everyone across CasUrban, CasConstruct, and Casello.

While many milestones have been reached so far, we head into the second half of the year ready to deliver on the exciting opportunities ahead of us.

This year’s annual team-building retreat held special meaning for CasCorporation, bringing together our people from across Casello, CasUrban and CasConstruct. Set against the familiar backdrop of RACV Cape Schanck Resort, where Casello proudly delivered the carpentry and weathering steel that wraps the building.

Guest speaker and former AFL coach Nathan Burke shared thoughtful insights on building a high-performance mindset and the power of daily discipline — reminders of how the small things we do every day shape bigger outcomes, both at work and in life. The afternoon saw a change of pace, with archery and laser clay shooting sparking friendly competition between colleagues and plenty of laughs as team members from all parts of the business came together to unwind and enjoy time together.

These moments away from the day-to-day are an essential part of how we bring teams together across the broader CasCorporation group, allowing space to network, strengthen relationships, and focus on how we work as teams to deliver the best outcomes not just for us but for everyone we work with.

As part of Cultural Diversity Week, CasCorporation held its annual Taste of Harmony lunch yesterday, continuing a favourite tradition that reflects the cultural makeup of our office workforce.

Staff were invited to bring in a dish that reflects their cultural background, family traditions, or simply a meal they enjoy and wanted to share. The result was a diverse and generous spread of home-cooked flavours, representing a wide range of cultural influences across the business.

The lunch provided an opportunity for informal connection across teams, as people shared stories behind the meals and learned more about the backgrounds of their colleagues in everyone’s favourite way, through delicious food.

We are starting the year with each of our companies, Casello, CasConstruct and CasUrban, excelling with continued and newly awarded projects. Here is what is new on the pipelines:

CasUrban is progressing with all developments and is looking forward to welcoming all new residents just after Easter this year.

CasConstruct is nearing construction completion of both Elements and Keystone developments in the coming months.

Casello has been awarded new jobs since the beginning of 2024, which is a fantastic addition to the already extensive repertoire of work. They have been successfully awarded a new Level Crossing Removal project at Parkdale Station, a residential development at 3 McNab Avenue with Roberts Co and have successfully completed the redevelopment of the State Basketball Centre.

We look forward to a prominent year for all companies!

Exciting developments abound in our latest construction update as we witness remarkable strides across the final stages of our project.

A pivotal milestone occurred in Stage 4 with the removal of scaffolding, revealing the stunning architectural facades that now define the exterior. Concurrently, the interiors of Stage 4 are bustling with activity as kitchens take shape, filling the spaces with a sense of warmth and functionality.

Homes in Stage 5 are witnessing the commencement of external cladding work and the essential rough-in of services, marking significant milestones in their development.

The collective efforts of our skilled teams promise a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality, ensuring a truly exceptional living experience for our future residents.

With completion due in the coming months, we look forward to sharing more construction updates soon.
