Andromeda Industries. What is it? What do we do?
You might have seen the Andromeda Industries name around, but what exactly do we do?
We’re an Australian owned and operated manufacturer based right here in Moonbi, NSW, and we’ve been doing what we do since 1972.
Our business has grown across three key areas: lifting, rubber and engineering.
Lifting is where it all began. We manufacture heavy-duty steel cable, slings, strops and other lifting products, including our unique Superflex cable. Our products are used for serious lifting across industries including mining, construction, defence, energy and more.
Our rubber division gives old mining conveyor belts a second life. We repurpose this tough, durable material into products used for everything from erosion control and access areas from blast mats, transport and agriculture. With more than 100 applications, there’s a lot more to our rubber products than meets the eye.
Then there’s our engineering division.
Our engineering team manufactures fittings and components, carries out repair and maintenance work on our one-of-a-kind machinery, and takes on bespoke jobs for customers who need something made specifically for their application.
Because we manufacture in-house, we have the ability to design, build, repair and modify products and equipment to get the job done properly.
After more than 50 years, we’re still doing what we’ve always done: making tough, reliable products here in Australia, finding practical solutions and constantly looking for ways to do things better.
