We are currently seeking an Electrical Draftsperson / BIM Modeller for an immediate start in a permanent position.
About the role:
· Drawing setup & production of detailed Electrical Services shop drawings through Revit
· Modelling 3D elements accurately in conjunction with 2D mark-ups
· Co-ordination of Electrical services for clash detection with other services contractors
· Maintain technical standards as per contractual obligations
· Continuous development of templates and families as required
· Collaborating with designers, engineers, estimators, foremen, business developers, and clients to meet project expectations.
· Preparing electrical construction and as-built drawings
· Working with Engineers to translate design concepts into documentation for construction
To be successful you will need;
· Excellent knowledge and strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks (ideally within the electrical space including circuiting etc.)
· Adequate experience with producing coordinated services drawings (including plant room layouts, sections, details, schematics)
· A desire to develop your design skills
· Experience on large scale projects with high number of drawings
· BIM360/Revizto experience is a plus
· Ability to set priorities in an efficient and timely manner to deadlines
· Based in Melbourne, Victoria
