My own home was cased last night.
The only reason we can describe them properly is because our cameras actually did their job โ alerted us instantly (green box) captured clear footage, and gave me enough time to meet them at the front door and scare them off. Real detail. Something police can use. Something the community can recognise.
If your cameras canโt give you a face, a build, or a clear descriptionโฆ you donโt have security โ you have decoration.
Crime is high. The systems in place arenโt stopping it (cheers Jacinta and Albo), and too often the people doing the right thing are left to deal with it themselves.
Protect your home properly, because no one else will. This country isnโt what it used to be.
