Had a bit of a blip on the radar — had surgery and have been managing the aftermath. Thankfully, it wasn’t actually done by a guinea pig! 😂

It’s almost October!

Which means the weather is getting hotter, Christmas is somehow already creeping up on us, and this is usually when s**t decides to break. 😂

👉 The switchboard starts playing up.
👉 The split system decides it’s had enough.
👉 The fan that’s been 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 for 6 months finally gives up.
👉 A powerpoint starts doing something it absolutely shouldn’t be doing.
👉 Or you suddenly realise your house has 𝗭𝗘𝗥𝗢 places to plug anything in.

You know… that time of year. 😅

Just wanted to give you all a little update.

Firstly, thank you so much for your continued support. We're as busy as ever, and it genuinely means the world to me and my family.

Unfortunately, I'm currently dealing with a health issue that's forcing me to slow down for a little while. 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴—𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹.

I want to apologise to anyone whose job has been rescheduled or whose quote has taken a little longer than expected. Please know I haven't forgotten about you—I'll get to everyone as soon as I can.

The good news? 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁—probably talking too much, bringing homemade treats, and trying to squeeze 9 days into a 7-day week again! 😅

🚨 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 📷

My own home was cased last night.

The only reason we can describe them properly is because our cameras actually did their job — alerted us instantly (green box) captured clear footage, and gave me enough time to meet them at the front door and scare them off. Real detail. Something police can use. Something the community can recognise.

If your cameras can’t give you a face, a build, or a clear description… you don’t have security — you have decoration.

Crime is high. The systems in place aren’t stopping it (cheers Jacinta and Albo), and too often the people doing the right thing are left to deal with it themselves.

Protect your home properly, because no one else will. This country isn’t what it used to be.
