Euro Civil were the selected contractor to Install these barriers back in July. Boys did a top job using MSKT Terminals, Ramshield HC Thrie-Beam and Bikershield motorcycle Rub Rail Protection all supplied by Safe Direction.

🏍️ Have you noticed the upgraded motorcycle under-run barriers now in place at Kiama Bends on the Princes Highway?

These barriers help protect riders by absorbing impact and preventing them from sliding under guardrails, reducing the severity of motorcycle crashes by up to 20%.

With 26 crashes (7 involving motorcycles) on this stretch in the past five years, this upgrade is a big step in making the Kiama Bends safer for everyone.

With a few issues to start the day the boys managed to still get this one done in less than half a day.

Meet THOR!

Today we did something a little different, we completed some dynamic load testing on Wire Rope post footings on the new M12 Motorway.
The testing was completed to ensure the concrete post footing will stay in place should they be impacted by an errant vehicle.

The machines name is THOR, hate to be on the receiving on of this bad boy......

The new M12 Motorway connects the M7 to the new Western Sydney Airport.
