JOB VACANCY
An opportunity exists for someone to join our team as a workshop operator in a Full Time position. Hours will vary between Day, Afternoon and Nights, Monday to Friday, so flexibility in working hours is a must.
Our workshop is located in Morwell and is a family owned and operated manufacturing business, with a commitment for ‘Quality Products Made Locally’.
The role will include:
• Operating of Equipment, including but not limited to: CNC Laser, Plasma/Oxy and 8 axis LVD Press Brake (onsite training provided)
• Basic Workshop Duties, including but not limited to: Drilling, Grinding, Deliveries, Loading & Unloading of trucks, Providing assistance to others as required
To be successful you will need:
• Ability to read and follow engineered drawings
• Hold current Drivers Licence
• Current Forklift Licence
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Have the ability to manage workload in a time critical environment
• Have strong attention to detail and follow the quality procedures in place
• Personal drive to work and learn, be flexible to assist others and work morning/afternoon/night shift as required
• A strong work ethic and be physically fit
• Good communication skills and a Team Player
• Be reliable and be able to work unsupervised

An opportunity exists for someone to join our team as a CNC Machinist in a Full Time position. Hours will be Monday to Friday dayshift.

Our workshop is located in Morwell and is a family owned and operated manufacturing business, with a commitment for ‘Quality Products Made Locally’.

The role will include:
• Program, set up, and manage CNC Milling & Lathe machines
• Advanced CNC operating (mill/turn)
• Ensure machining process results align with product specifications
• Maintain efficient machine operation and adhere to production schedules
• Improve machine cycle times, procedures, and quality
• Implement preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components to uphold functionality and reduce machine downtime
• Perform machine changeovers, including cutting tooling changes, material loading, bar feeder setup, and confirming/testing program details
• Utilise CNC software; CAD/CAM programming experience is preferable


To be successful you will need:
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (preferred)
• Technical knowledge or experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machines, ensuring production efficiency
• Ability to read and follow engineered drawings & follow work instructions
• Computer literacy & Exposure to quality systems
• Current Forklift Licence
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Can manage workload in a time critical environment
• Have strong attention to detail and follow the quality procedures in place
• Personal drive to work and learn, be flexible to assist others
• A strong work ethic and be physically fit
• Good communication skills and a Team Player

1st job through the new Easyform pressbrake. Urgent 420x SS brackets. Laser cut and folded all within 24hrs from time of order. All done in house at Gippsland CNC Cutting

So the answer to what was getting installed. Our new 80t x 2m easyform pressbrake. Full 6 axis backgauge, cnc crowning, hydraulic tool clamping top and bottom and of coarse the easyform laser angle measuring system.

Next piece going into place. What could it be?

The new CNC mill has arrived and is operational. One of its first jobs is drill and counterbore 32mm Hardox450 plate, next job is 1400x MS250 plates with 4x27mm holes. This machine will extend our capabilities to drilling and machining tighter tolerance parts then previously. All programmed in Autodesk Inventor from 3d models.
