Desktop structural work has interpreted a conceptual 4km corridor connecting three copper-gold deposits at Mt Chalmers. The ground between them has barely been touched by modern drilling.

Woods Shaft is our first priority drill test within this conceptual corridor. Our 2022 RC drilling there returned 37m @ 3.14g/t Au and 0.82% Cu from 4m (downhole length, ended in mineralisation). All eleven holes ended in mineralised material.

An RC and diamond drilling program is being finalised. Details to follow before field activities start.

Mt Chalmers has been a copper-gold mine since 1898. When we acquired the project, the historic production record was the first piece of evidence. The drilling that followed confirmed an 11.86Mt Mineral Resource at 1.22% copper equivalent and set the stage for the DFS now underway.

Old mines often have the most to say.

We called our DFS announcement "rapid", and Mining.com.au's Maddison Elliott explained what that actually means on the ground.

Five workstreams running in parallel: environmental approvals, mining studies, geotechnical work, metallurgical test work, and process engineering. The geological and structural model is already complete. The DFS target is year-end, fully funded by the $15 million QIC investment.

We just released a DFS progress update for Mt Chalmers, and there's a lot moving.

Seven specialist teams are now working through every part of the Definitive Feasibility Study simultaneously. They're targeting completion by the end of this year. The whole thing is fully funded by the $15 million QIC investment that landed earlier in 2026, so there's no waiting on capital raises between workstreams.

It's the kind of update that shows the gears really are turning.

Five years listed. The whole team together: Andrew Sparke, Richard Wittig, Peter Caristo, Suzanne Gabriele, and Elissa Hansen. Cake and a strategy meeting in one sitting, which is very much the QMines way.

A lot has been built since 2021. Pre-feasibility complete. Definitive Feasibility Study underway. Three projects. A $15 million institutional investment through the door. A team that has stayed focused through every phase of the cycle.

Here's to year six.

Andrew's reaction in this clip is worth watching closely. Not because of what he says, but because of the surprise behind it.

A Queensland Government-backed fund chose to take equity in a small-cap miner. Not a grant, not a loan: equity, with all the commercial logic that implies. Andrew has spent years in this industry. He knows how rare that is.

The room said it all.

Landholders, local council, state government, the Queensland Resources Council, Trade and Investment Queensland, and local resources businesses, all together in Rockhampton, talking seriously about the region's future.

All conditions on the $15 million QIC investment have been satisfied.

Alongside this, QMines has converted a $1 million convertible note and is now debt-free, with the security over the Mt Mackenzie tenements released. The balance sheet is clean as the company moves toward completion and the next phase of work at Mt Chalmers.
