🚀 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 NAB 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Adrian Pope and I (Jess Dalton) had the privilege of attending the 𝗡𝗔𝗕 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Melbourne, joining business leaders from across Australia for a day filled with 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

💡 A consistent theme throughout the summit was how businesses can embrace emerging technologies, particularly 𝗔𝗜, while continuing to prioritise the 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 that ultimately drive long-term success.

🤖 One of the standout presentations came from 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, who shared practical examples of how his business is leveraging AI tools such as Claude to streamline quoting and administrative processes.
His insights demonstrated that 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. It's about removing repetitive tasks and creating more time for customer engagement, relationship building and strategic thinking.

📈 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝗹𝗱 delivered valuable insights into the economic landscape and the trends shaping Australian business.

📖 One of the day's key reminders came from 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻: in a world shaped by technology, stories, authenticity and human connection remain invaluable in business.

🌟 Beyond the presentations, one of the most valuable aspects of the summit was the opportunity to 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 with other business owners, industry leaders and NAB team members.

Adrian and I left feeling inspired by the possibilities that innovation and AI present, but equally reminded that behind every successful business are 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Standing alongside 𝗞𝗿𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴, the life‑sized replica of the 8.63‑metre saltwater crocodile made famous by trailblazer Krystina Pawlowski, Australia’s first full‑time female crocodile hunter.
Her record‑breaking croc still sits proudly in the Guinness Book of Records, and we’re stoked to see PCA represented right where legends are made.

💥 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘆’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 who trained beside her, supported her, and helped her hit this milestone. The workshop effort shows.

A big milestone today as Mitchel Corrigan officially completes his 𝗕𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 with the team at 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘆’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗹.

Mitchel’s put in the hard yards — early starts, tough jobs, and a commitment to learning the trade properly. He’s earned his place as a 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, and we’re proud to see him step into the next chapter of his career.

But achievements like this don’t happen alone.
