Calibre Engineering is looking for an experienced Planning Coordinator to join our Mount Isa team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in mining, maintenance or shutdown planning who enjoys being involved in the action and working closely with operational teams.

🔧 WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

✅ Planning and scheduling mining projects, maintenance works and shutdowns

✅ Coordinating workforce, equipment and mobilisation requirements

✅ Managing procurement and ensuring materials are ready when needed

✅ Developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar software

✅ Leading planning meetings and keeping projects on track

💪 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

🔹 Experience in project planning, scheduling or a similar role

🔹 Strong knowledge of mining operations, maintenance and shutdowns

🔹 Experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent software

🔹 Excellent organisational and communication skills

🔹 Someone who can juggle multiple priorities, think ahead and get things done!

🏗️ FROM THE GROUND UP | OSBORNE FLOTATION EXPANSION PROJECT

A great look at the progress being made by the Calibre Engineering team at Osborne Mine.

Calibre was initially awarded the civil package across the flotation area and a further five civil work fronts as part of the Osborne Flotation Expansion Project.

From earthworks, reinforcement and concrete construction through to the installation of the new flotation circuit, our team has been involved every step of the way.

With the civil works progressing, Calibre was also awarded the SMP installation works, including the assembly and installation of three flotation column tanks, conditioning tanks, structural steel, platforms and access structures, mechanical equipment, process pipework and associated plant infrastructure.

The photos show the flotation column tank installation taking shape — and are a great example of what our team can deliver across a complete project package.

Civil. Structural. Mechanical. Piping. One team delivering from the ground up. 👏

A huge effort from everyone involved in bringing this project together.

✅ Trade Qualification

✅ Working at Heights
