What an incredible week at the 2026 Metricon Love of Design Summit in Byron Bay. Across four inspiring days, our design leaders, business partners and industry experts came together to explore the future of Australian living through conversations around innovation, sustainability, wellbeing and evolving customer needs.
From touring Futureflip homes with Neil Hipwell, to hearing from Katie Rigg-Smith, Stephen Choi, Michael Leung, Ali Whelan, James Treble and Associate Professor Müge Teixeira - alongside immersive wellness home experiences, customer panels, sustainability discussions and hands-on wildlife initiatives - every session challenged us to think differently about the homes of tomorrow.
A huge thank you to our Summit partners DuluxGroup, Reece Group, James Hardie and COLORBOND® steel for helping bring this experience to life, and to everyone who contributed their ideas, expertise and passion throughout the week.
