Different parts of the home, all moving at once.

Inside, Regan Air Conditioning are working through the air conditioning installation while outside, Stone Scene Monuments and Restorations is progressing the sandstone cladding.

It is a good snapshot of how a build really moves, with different trades working across the home at the same time and each part needing to line up with the bigger picture.

The cladding is nearly complete, and the exterior is reading with much more definition.

Dan and the Claypole Carpentry team have been working through the facade with the precision this finish demands, keeping lines consistent, junctions clean and the detailing around openings sharp.

It is the kind of work that looks simple when it is done well, but relies on careful set out and skilled workmanship to achieve a clean, resolved result.

A quality finish starts well before the final coat of paint.

As the plastering progresses throughout this home, the focus is on creating clean, consistent surfaces that will support everything still to come, from paint and trims to cabinetry and the finer interior details.

Straight lines, smooth junctions and careful preparation may eventually disappear beneath the finished surfaces, but they have a significant influence on how refined those surfaces will look.

The next layers of the home are only as good as the work underneath them.

Brickwork introduces a different kind of detail to a facade.

As the masonry progresses on this home, texture, tone and strong horizontal lines are beginning to add another layer to the exterior.

Good brickwork relies on consistency across far more than the individual bricks.

Clean courses, considered junctions and precise detailing all influence how polished the finished elevation will feel.
