Another dolly through the workshop for a turntable change to Jost with safety systems and a light for when you do your visual inspection
New Jost turntable
Repaint
New lights and reflectors
New signage

We had a dolly and a float in for some repairs

The floats ramps there were cracks around the cut outs for the lights so we repaired the cracks and fabricated some compensation plates ,
Welded them on a quick repaint
Fitted 2 missing reflector plates on the side
Repaired cracks in various locations
New signs and reflectors fitted

The dolly had a bent turntable plate and mounting plate, we discussed with our engineer on a plan to rectify and we fitted new 20mm plates and a gussit on the underside
Gouged all apart, fitted the new plates and gussit and welded out
Repainted the changes and then the engineer come and inspected and fitted the mod plate

Do you use your machines down time wisely!??
Spry Civil do! They sent this old faithful machine to us and we set to work:
Reskinned the door, fitted new pins and bushes Added chocky blocks to slow down the wear on the bottom of the side walls.
Replaced some worn out and rusted sections
Removed the rams and refitted them after they were rebushed and new pins done at Hughes Precision Machining
All put back together with new bolts and washers
Fitted a new ripper adaptor and tooth
Sprayed a new coat of yellow on repairs
And… her down time was over!
Picked up at 7am and straight to the job site
It was a big rewarding job for our team
Always great to be locals working with locals

Dog tipper came in for a tidy up
Removed the bent guarding and light brackets
Fabricated new mudflap brackets
Few crack repairs
New spring mount on rear axle
New tow eye
New wiring and clearance lights and side indicators
All new reflectors
Chassis cleaned and coat of paint
Ready to head to the mechanic for a once over prior to going for inspection
