Another old house requiring some TLC. This was a very rewarding renovation watching it transform into a modern house. This project was built during the cyclone last year so that made for some Interesting times with a lot of stress that the old house would fall over. But it survived and we have made it 10x stronger then before.

Sometimes you must think outside the box to create a masterpiece. Crazy to think this is the original ceiling and windows. We worked with the owner who wanted to do his own painting and re glazing of these windows and wow haven’t they come up well. Tile choices and plumbing fixtures just compliment each other so well!

Where the old meets the new. Tallowwood flooring. The clients requested we change the direction of the new floor and I have to agree that was the correct decision.

Some serious wow factor. Incredible work from some amazing craftsman on this staircase. .j.weldingandfabrication . Matched with the incredible polished concrete floors, stone fireplace and blackbutt ceiling. This family, dining and entry room is something very special. This house is incredible and what a privilege it was to build this from ground up.

Something a little different for us at McMahon Homes. Not usually one to be in front of the camera but thought why not for a change. We had a little fill in job to make this space more presentable. Axon sheeting and one of the hardest cuts I’ve had to do to suit the existing stair threads and risers but we got it looking good. All the credit goes to Michelle at for creating this reel. This was on that lovely 38 degree day so those ice blocks definitely saved us from heat stroke.

Little deck fix up. The old deck was about to fall over so we replaced it with this Merbau deck and added a privacy screen to block out the neighbours. Coated with cutek extreme in an autumn tone.
