They say red ones go faster!😉 That may be partly true as this vehicle is for Women for Wheels Motorsport Fire and Rescue. They are a volunteer organisation that provides fire crews to a large number of South Australian motorsport events including the Supercars at The Bend and Adelaide street race. Our team put in a massive effort to have this one ready to go to its next stage. We can't wait to see this one all sign written and decked out at the BP Adelaide Grand Final at the end of November.

RANGER SUPER DUTY SINGLE CAB

This vehicle had so much go into it that it was dark when we finished it. This meant the customer clocked up 8000km between us and the Gulf of Carpentaria before we got pics of it in daylight.

Features include
-4x Undertray toolboxes with painted treadplate doors
-Roof rack with mesh base and slope mounted solar panel
-280L Custom water tank
-Spare tyre mount (hinge lift)
-Jerry can holder
-Rear ladder
-Double drawer unit
-2x Fridge Slide
-Central locking to canopy and toolbox doors

The electrical work was done at Rainbow Motors (near Woolumbool) by Jason. He and the team out there did an amazing job and were great to work with. The fitout included a 300Ah lithium battery, inverter, dc-dc charger, solar and lighting.

Our standard ute tray fitted to a 2026 N90 Hilux single cab. We also added the customer's Lindsell Hoist crane from a previous vehicle. The original hydraulic power pack now lives in one of our 3mm undertray toolboxes. Another first for Watts Fabrications is the optional tail light protection grilles.

Are you getting a new ute and could do with a locally made steel tray with all features that you need built into the job? Check out this Isuzu Dmax we completed recently. This is our standard tray with a 2 1/2" pipe headboard with mesh added on. The customer also upgraded to metallic paint to match the cab.

Do you need some extra shade over your fishing boat? We made this full aluminium roof section for one of our customers recently. We also mounted all the major connections with stainless bolts, insertion rubber and sandwich plates under the fibreglass sections to ensure this roof stands the test of time.

FORD RANGER SUPER DUTY SPACE CAB

We're really excited to show this new chassis mounted canopy. This is our standard model with undertray infills added and a new revised tail light section to suit the factory rear sensor bumper.

We collaborate from time to time with South East Hydraulics and Mechanical. This is a portable power pack we made the frame and oil tank for to run a sheep handling machine.

This Colorado has had a major upgrade with this tipper tray. With an undertray toolbox, 15L poly water tank and our tough industrial 2 pack paint its a super practical farm ute.

Special mention to Nath Pulford and the team at South East Hydraulics & Mechanical for the hydraulics. Their products and service are second to none.

Dodge Ram 2500 Twin Cab

This tray features undertray toolboxes, a 30L undertray water tank and a 600mm dog/dry box with a 1200mm drawer. We also did an aluminium treadplate floor and 3mm aluminium sides to keep the weight down. The finished product only added 140kg to the original vehicle weight with its tub fitted.

Our speciality is customising our vehicle bodies to suit your needs. If it's possible we'll make it happen.
