About our company:
BAMS has been operating over 30 years providing services from design, manufacturing, construction, hygiene management and electrical. Our warehouse/office is located in Narellan with onsite parking, conveniently located within a 2 minute drive from Narellan Town Centre.
The Role:
The role requires the applicant to have the ability to undertake workshop joinery fabrication, repairs and modifications, and the final refitting of completed joinery.
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic candidate with an eye for detail to manufacture and install joinery of a high quality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of woodworking machines and hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets and high-grade furniture
- Studies blueprints or drawings to be constructed or repaired
- Liaisons with your supervisor and tradespersons
- Undertake site extractions and re-installation of cabinetry
- Driving work vehicles to and from site
Undertake workshop-based joinery tasks
- Other duties as directed by your supervisor and managers
- Completion of minor documentation and comply with safe work method statements.
Requirements:
- Completion of training program or apprenticeship
- Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker, over 2 years
- Good arithmetic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork
