It's been a while. Greg and Sam have been busy catching up from the floods.
They have been all over the shire fixing roads, drains, culverts and everything else in between.
Sam has been perfecting her truck driving and loading it with gravel with the backhoe.
It has been an interesting time between too wet and too dry. The water truck needs to used exactly right. A bit like cooking really.
So, that's a bit of a catch up.

We have been waiting for the mud to dry.
It is a tricky time with things drying up.. slowly.. it looks like we can get onto a damaged road or into a paddock, but a 8 tonne backhoe and a 10 tonne truck require a firm base. Three runs, crack the surface and then.... soup.
So waiting, waiting, waiting. Love the rain, but the backhoe and grader don't swim.

Thinking of all those affected by the floods in Qld and Lismore. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Stay safe on the roads. They are a nightmare at the moment. Be patient.

Thinking of the councils affected by the damage done and hope they can get onto them soon to ensure our countries arteries are up and running again.

On that note, there will be lots of work out there, it will be all hands on deck to get them up and going.
