You have to eat enough s**t sandwiches to get good. That is just the reality of business.
Everyone wants the good stuff — the money, the freedom, the success. But nobody wants to deal with the bad stuff that comes first. I have eaten my fair share of s**t sandwiches. I had to work my arse off, turn up early, and do more than I was asked.
The bad stuff always comes first. It is there to test you. It is there to see if you actually want it, or if you are just going to quit when it gets hard.
Are you willing to deal with the bad to get to the good?

You got ripped off on that job because you weren't smart enough. It is a hard pill to swallow, but it is the truth.
In business, the only thing you can control is yourself. If you are not getting enough work, it is your fault. If sales are down, it is your fault. If a client screws you over, it is your fault.
The moment you start pointing the finger at other people, you lose all your power. You lose control of the situation. When you take accountability for every single thing that goes wrong, you can actually fix it.
Stop blaming the market, the clients, or the ads. Take control. Figure out the action. Build a better business.

I was that desperate to become an operator… I made it happen myself.

No one would give me a shot.
No one would give me the “go” everyone talks about.

So I thought stuff it… I’ll create my own opportunity.

I went and found work on farms for next to nothing.
Running an old dozer for about $110 an hour.

Looking back… I’d never do that again.

But at the time, it was the best thing I ever did.

Because I got reps.

I watched experienced operators
I copied what they were doing
And I started figuring it out myself

Here’s the truth…

It probably takes about 100 hours just to learn how to pull the levers properly.

After that… that’s when the real learning starts.

Most people quit before they even get there.

If you actually want to get good at this game, you’ve got to earn your hours.

There’s no shortcut.
