We are really into the rebuild now but we've still got a few areas to show you where the original build was wrong. Unfortunately the windows and doors were all installed incorrectly, but we have saved them all to reinstall correctly! We have salvaged as much as we can from this project.

Autumn and winter in Newcastle always keep us on our toes. One minute the sky is clear, the next minute it is pouring, even after checking two weather apps that never seem to agree.

Rain can slow down external work, but it does not stop the project. On wet days we switch gears and focus on the parts of the build that keep everything moving. That means paperwork, invoices, quotes, planning and making sure the next stage is ready to go. Our apprentices use the time for bookwork and study so they keep building their skills too.

Good building is about timing, preparation and working with the weather, not against it. Rainy days become productive days behind the scenes.

Looks like a match made in heaven for Dan & Lachy. They grew up in school together and are cute besties, so it's only natural they decided to run a business together.

Each stage of a project has many steps. Our North Lambton project started at the front of the house with removing the old cladding, installing insulation, adding in new windows/doors and then adding on new cladding.

Now, we have moved to the rear of the house and are not only doing the same with the cladding, but we're adding on an extension! The owners want to maximise their floor space and so we're building out where an old deck was. Have a look through each stage of the process and where we're up to.
