Hi Everybody,
Just a quick email about a fundraising event we are participating in this weekend.
SIQ team member Andrew Devlin is participating in the NEWY100 which is a 100km run this weekend May 2 to 3rd in support of Lifeline and he is raising funds to assist this organisation with the continuing work that is so very much needed in our communities.
The rest of the SIQ team will be participating in the last 10km run/walk… crawl and giving Andrew motivation to finish the last 10km.
In January 2020, the SIQ team was impacted by the death of a colleague and friend by su***de.
As a group of guys working together, we often speak about spending more time together than we do with our own families and even though we check in with each other on the regular basis… it still happened.
Upon reflection of the loss of our colleague and friend we asked ourselves “what could I have done..?”.
As a result, we are putting our efforts into events such as the NEWY100 and as a group working towards doing something, anything, to possibly help someone in their time of need.
