The team at Fibretank Petroleum successfully completed the FRP lining of two 11,000-litre underground petroleum storage systems last week in regional Victoria. This enhancement significantly extends the lifespan of the storage systems by over 30 years.

It was an honor to work alongside WSP Services on their recent project in Brisbane. Fibretank Petroleum worked closely with the WSP team over the last week to successfully complete the fiberglass relining of a single-wall 40,000-litre fiberglass tank. This collaboration provided an excellent opportunity for our team to engage with WSP, whose professionalism and commitment to safety were exemplary throughout the project.

In light of the recent incident involving one of our competitors in NSW, we are reminded of the critical importance of adhering to safety procedures to ensure the well-being of all personnel. Our thoughts are with the two workers affected, and we wish them a swift recovery.

Another installation of fibre-reinforced plastic lining has been successfully completed in Southern NSW. Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) linings serve as a commendable alternative to replacing underground petroleum storage tanks. The implementation of FRP lining will effectively extend the operational lifespan of the Underground Petroleum Storage System (UPSS), thereby augmenting the safety and efficiency of product distribution.

Flash back to early 2023. The FibreTank Petroleum and Engineering team travelled to Broadwater NSW to Conduct Fibre Reinforced Plastic FRP lining on two underground petroleum storage tanks. Both the 22,000 litre and 12,000 litre tanks completed with handover back to the happy owner in 7 days.
