The reason we're up in Queensland this week - getting the Mackay facility up and running, and prepping a course out at Moranbah for graduate engineers on work experience in the industry.

Hands-on fluid power training. Not words on a page. Not diagrams. Not just complaints from the tradies about what the engineers don't know.

This is one of the cooler jobs we've got coming up - and honestly, for our trainers, engineers ask different questions. Sharper. It's a good challenge answering from a different angle.

Thinking about upgrading your hydraulic skills, but assuming you need to wait for the next semester or yearly intake?

EOFY is creeping up.

If you’ve still got training budget sitting there, it might be worth thinking about whether there’s something useful you can do with it before June 30.

We’ve still got some options for hydraulics, pneumatics, fault finding, safety, mobile plant, short courses or workplace training.

Doesn’t need to be overcomplicated - even a small block of training can be a good way to tidy up a skills gap before the new financial year kicks over.
