Sydney Team Takes on Melbourne!

As part of our integrated national approach, we recently welcomed some of our Sydney team members to Melbourne to lend a hand on local projects and collaborate with our Victorian crews.

A big thank you to the boys for making the trip and getting stuck in. It's great to see our teams working together across state borders to deliver for our clients and support one another.

A busy weekend on-site for the GDP team!

While one crew completed a complex glass replacement using EWP and BMU access, our window cleaning teams delivered quarterly services across multiple areas with several EWPs operating in coordination.

Introducing the GDP Group NSW Facade Care team!

On the left is Jamie, our Facade Care Operational Manager, and on the right is Derek, our NSW Facade Care Manager. We're the guys making sure Sydney’s buildings stay as sparkling as the harbour behind us.

If you see us walking around the CBD constantly staring up at buildings, now you know why!

Let's connect and keep NSW shining.

Not all heroes wear capes… but last weekend, ours did!

Over the long weekend, the GDP team had the absolute privilege of abseiling as superheroes in support of the Good Friday Appeal.

From Batman to Buzz Lightyear, we stepped off the edge with one goal in mind, to bring smiles, excitement, and a little bit of magic to the brave kids who deserve it most.

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why we proudly support the Good Friday Appeal each year. It’s more than just an event, it’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

While the appeal weekend may be over, the impact doesn’t stop here. Donations can be made year-round, and every contribution helps support this incredible cause.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again.

Creating safe workplaces goes beyond physical hazards, it’s also about how we treat one another every day.

Respectful communication, positive behaviour, and supporting those around us are essential to a safe and productive environment.

Unacceptable behaviours include:
- Verbal abuse, insults, or name-calling
- Belittling or dismissing others
- Spreading rumours or creating division
- Excluding or isolating team members
- Ongoing negative behaviour that affects someone’s wellbeing

Even subtle actions can have a lasting impact. “Us vs. them” attitudes and cliques can damage team culture and reduce psychological safety.

Everyone plays a part in creating a better workplace:
- Treat others with respect and fairness
- Support your teammates
- Speak up if something doesn’t feel right
- Use appropriate channels to report concerns
- Promote inclusion and teamwork

Workplace bullying is a serious safety issue. It can affect mental health, performance, and overall site safety.

A safe workplace is one where people feel respected, supported, and able to speak up.

Inclinator Tracks Restored!

At one of our NSW sites, we gave the inclinator tracks a full makeover.
After spotting serious corrosion, our team worked with a structural engineer to repair, replace, and reinforce key sections, using rope access for tricky spots and protective coatings for long-term safety.
