We feel incredibly fortunate to have recently travelled through China and Hong Kong.

Over 10 days, we spent 7 days on mainland China and 3 days in Hong Kong — visiting leading manufacturers, attending industry events, and seeing first-hand where solar and battery technology is heading.

From factory tours with AIKO, AlphaESS and Sigenergy, to the incredible experience of the Shanghai Formula 1, it was a trip to remember.

We met some great people along the way and gained valuable insights we’re excited to bring back home.

Another clean install by the team at Bright Earth Solar — featuring a Sigenergy system with a 15 kW inverter and 40 kWh of battery storage.

This setup will soon be connected to Electric’s SmartShift, letting the customer take advantage of real-time wholesale energy pricing — charging when energy is cheap and selling back when it’s high.
