When warnings aren’t enough, automation can step in. 🚨

The Automated Equipment Stop function is an add-on to MST Global’s System, designed to further reduce the risk of personnel-machine and machine-machine interactions on site.

👉Using a low-frequency magnetic field, the system creates defined warning and danger zones around equipment. If a person or vehicle carrying a Proximity Tag enters these zones and does not move away, the system can automatically intervene, slowing or stopping the machine to prevent a collision.

In this demonstration, our team shows the system triggering an emergency stop on an excavator when its arm enters a designated danger area. Once the hazard is clear, operations can safely resume.

It’s an extra layer of protection, helping keep people out of harm’s way when it matters most.

Preventing incidents starts with knowing what’s around you.👀

People, vehicles and equipment are constantly in motion, often outside an operator’s direct line of sight.⚠️ MST’s system is designed to address this challenge head-on.

By detecting proximity between personnel, vehicles and hazards, it alerts operators to what’s happening around them, before this becomes an issue.🚨

Using RFID tracking tags and on-board detection, the system provides real-time alerts without relying on line of sight, GPS or perfect lighting. It’s an added layer of awareness in the moments where reaction time matters most.
