About Us:
Broken Hill Cobalt Project Pty Ltd (BHCP), a subsidiary of Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited (ASX: COB), is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our Cobalt Sulphate Refinery project at our Demonstration Plant.
Position: Operator
We are looking for two Operators to join our team! Ideally, you have a background in processing plant or laboratory operations, but we are excited to provide an opportunity for you to gain new experience with us.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the plant for any abnormal operations and take prompt action.
• Perform fault-finding, mechanical repairs, and housekeeping tasks.
• Liaise with the Technical Team to review data and assist with troubleshooting during commissioning and operations.
• Oversee and troubleshoot the Refinery circuit as required.
• Assist with laboratory and plant sampling.
• Follow procedures and process instructions for the operation of plant and processes.
• Completion of operations Log sheets and Shift Reports.
• Pack and prepare samples for dispatch, including generating documentation.
• Prepare sample assays, data entry, and other laboratory tasks during each shift.
• Follow Work, Health, and Safety (WHS) procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working in processing plants.
• Drivers Licence.
• Forklift competency (preferred).
• Good written communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Working knowledge of WHS policies and procedures.
