Project Completion: Delivering Healthcare Spaces at Opal Epping Wellness Centre

Moving into a residential aged care is a significant life transition. A thoughtfully designed environment can make all the difference, providing comfort, dignity and a sense of home.

Opal Healthcare is Australia's largest residential aged care provider by operational places, with 148 communities across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.

When Bloompark sought a delivery partner for Opal's fitout of a newly constructed Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF), Graphite was selected to deliver the works.

The scope included:
• Waiting area
• Health consultation rooms
• Floor work and rehabilitation/gym area
• Tea and water point
• Treatment rooms
• Clinical hand wash bay
• Storage and support facilities

Working within an occupied aged care environment required careful planning and coordination to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of residents while minimising disruption to day-to-day operations. Close collaboration with all stakeholders enabled the project to be delivered seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

A fantastic outcome that will support residents, visitors and healthcare professionals for years to come.

We're proud to announce that Graphite has been accepted onto the University of Sydney Specialist Fitout Panel following a detailed procurement process.

This milestone is particularly meaningful because the University of Sydney was one of Graphite's earliest partners, supporting us during our initial beginnings.

Over the years, Graphite has delivered projects across the MBA School in the Sydney CBD, the Brain and Mind Centre, the Abercrombie Café, and many other specialist facilities across the campus.

Project Completion: Matraville Sports High School

Renowned as one of Australia's leading sporting high schools, Matraville Sports High School has built a legacy of excellence - producing NRL stars including Joshua Addo-Carr, Boyd Cordner and Adam Reynolds.

When School Infrastructure NSW sought partners to deliver Matraville’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) Stage 1 Phase 2 Upgrades, Graphite was engaged to deliver the refurbishment works.

Our scope included the refurbishment of:

➡️ Block C laboratories and general learning spaces
➡️ Block F Art Room
➡️ Block J Gymnasium, amenities and Video Review Room

Delivered in close collaboration with School Infrastructure NSW and the School Principal, the project achieved high-quality outcomes while ensuring the school remained fully operational and disruption to students and staff was kept to a minimum.

A fantastic outcome for a school with a proud history - and an exciting future.

On Sunday 9th August, Team Graphite took on the City2Surf and completed the full 14km course alongside ~ 90,000 other participants.

A special mention to our estimator Khoi Bui, who managed to wear his armour for the entire 14km, proudly flying the Graphite flag high! 🤺

There are a few sore legs and aches and pains amongst the team this week, but thankfully a well-earned post-run feast helped ease the pain.

All in all, a fun experience and great day out with the team. 😊

We are thrilled to have recently delivered a commercial office refurbishment for one of our clients at the QQT Building, 50 Bridge Street.

The scope included significant boardroom upgrades, new meeting rooms with integrated AV, office layout modifications, and a refreshed lobby entrance.

Delivered within an occupied office environment, the works were carefully planned and coordinated to minimise disruption to our client's day-to-day operations.
