𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 🚧🦺

As part of the Shire of Northam's commitment to our local roads program we are delighted to have awarded a $1.7 million Roads Package for 2023/24 to local business GDR Civil Contracting.

Investing in and improving our roads remains a key priority within the Shire and these upgrades will provide greater accessibility, increased safety, economic and social outcomes for our residents.

This contract will allow for the upgrades to Linley Valley Road including pavement rehabilitation/reconstruction, primer seal, and asphalt. Works are scheduled to begin 8th June and estimated to be completed by 30th June 2024, weather permitting.

For the duration of the upgrades, a Traffic Management Plan will be in place with works to be conducted primarily over the weekends.

1. LINLEY VALLEY ROAD, WUNDOWIE
2. MOKINE ROAD, MOKINE
3. FORREST STREET, NORTHAM
4. FITZGERALD STREET, NORTHAM
5. HENRY STREET, NORTHAM
6. BEAVIS PLACE, NORTHAM

Works will commence end of January 2024, with anticipated completion by end of this financial year.
